In March of 2015, somebody asked me, "If you could do anything or have any job, what would it be?", I said that I would love to open a clothing store with my sister. We had always talked about starting a business but we both lived full lives in different cities and never really spoke of it in any seriousness. It was the weekend of my 30th birthday in late August 2015 when our dreamy discussions became a real life question of "Could we really do this?". The answer was "Yes".
Fast-forward to March 2016 and we opened the doors to SHIFT boutique for the first time. We quit our jobs, moved to Boise from bigger cities and opened a scrappy retail boutique with the help of family persuaded by beer and pizza.
In the seven years we have been operating SHIFT boutique Boise, we have added a men's store - KEYSTONE station, and boutiques in Walla Walla and NOW Caldwell!
SHIFT boutique brings quality fashion to the Treasure Valley and Walla Walla. It also brings women together in an environment that is respectful, playful, and engaging. We have a dynamic family, we are part of the community, and tend to not take ourselves too seriously.
